Lynne
Lehr-Buck, CPA
Lynne Lehr-Buck, CPA started IntraScope
Accounting Solutions, LLC in September, 1998. Her goal was to
create a CPA firm that was different by creating a practice around
what clients want, not what services have been traditionally offered
by CPA firms. The current client base covers a wide range of
industries from construction to service businesses. Her prior
experience includes over ten years in a local accounting firm
specializing in income tax and planning. In addition, she has eight
years of experience in industry, including starting up the Denver
Operations for a Physician Practice Management Company. While
Lehr-Buck has almost 20 years of tax experience, her passion is
assisting her clients with management consulting, budgeting and
strategic planning. To assist her clients with understanding their
business & people, she became qualified to give the Myers Briggs
type indicator in 2006. Understanding what drives people adds a
dimension to her consulting services that is unique for a CPA.
Lehr-Buck has been active with the
Colorado Society of CPAs having served on the Board of Directors
(1994 – 1995), as Treasurer (1996), as Vice-president (1997), as
President-Elect (2001) and as President (2002). Other committee
participation includes Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee,
Vision Task Force, Web site Task Force, and Taxpayer Assistance
Committee. She became involved with the Vision Project charged with
setting a vision for the CPA profession in 1997 and was the Colorado
delegate to the National Future Forum. She was one of six CPAs from
across the country to serve on the national CPA Vision team and
later served on the Change Management Team. She served 2 years on
the nominations committee for the American Institute of CPAs and was
on council to the AICPA for 3 years. She also served on the
Leadership Task Force for two years with the ACIPA, the committee
charged with educating incoming chairs from the various State
Societies of CPAs about key issues to the profession. Lehr-Buck was
appointed to these committees because of her passion for the
profession’s future.
Community service has been important to
Lehr-Buck as a way of giving back to her community. She is
currently on the board for the Raymond Wentz Foundation, an
organization dedicated to helping people in cancer treatment that
are experiencing a financial crisis. Her service also includes
serving as the President for one year and the treasurer for
Littleton Soccer Club for six years. Her primary responsibilities
include implementing appropriate internal controls, designing
processes to improve operations, growth management, budgeting and
strategic planning. In addition she for served several years as the
treasurer for the Urban Design Forum, Inc.
Lehr-Buck’s other accomplishments
include various speaking engagements across the country on budgeting
and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations. She has taught
